Jackson Durai Part 2 is an upcoming multilingual movie directed by PV Dharanidharan. It’s the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster hit film Jackson Durai. The film stars Sathyaraj and Sibiraj in the lead role. The film is being produced by MS Sharavanan and Fathima under the banners of Sri Green Productions and I Dream Studios. Siddharth Vipin composed the songs and background scores. As per the sources, the film will be screening in theaters in mid-2023. It is planned to release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The makers have announced that the plot will be shot in two timelines one is in the present, and another one is in the 1940s. They also said that they have roped in several theater artists for supporting roles instead of established actors. As a scoop, they mentioned that Sathyaraj would once again play a ghost.
