The Income Tax Department of India has launched new e-facility to link Aadhaar and PAN (Permanent Account Number) , it is the compulsory process for filing IT returns. This department’s e-filing websites has created its Link on its homepage, but you can get the link here (https://incometaxindiaefilling.gov.in/). That link requires the correct PAN and the Aadhaar number and the exact name as it given in the Aadhaar card. Next, the verification will do by UIDAI [Unique Identification Authority of India], and the links will be confirmed.
In the case of any secondary mismatch in Aadhaar name provided, Aadhaar OTP will be given to check, the department said in an announcement to the taxpayers and the individuals. It says that the OTP (One Time Password) will send to the registered mobile number and email of the person.
The IT department asked the people to check that the date of birth and the gender of the PAN card and the Aadhaar card holder whether it is same, to confirm linking without fail.
Here you no need to login or to registered on the e-filling website. This facility can be handled by anybody to link their Aadhaar with PAN.
Our Government, under the Finance act of 2017, they made it as compulsory for the taxpayers to register their Aadhaar or enrolment of Aadhaar application ID for filling income tax return.
And, for applying for PAN card Aadhaar card is mandatory this is launched from July 1, 2017.
Till now the IT department has linked over 1.18 Aadhaar with its PAN database.
Aadhaar card issued by the UIDAI to the citizen of India, and the PAN card will publish by IT department the card contains ten alphanumeric number with the laminated card to any person, entity or firm.
