Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always been the key person to Chennai Super Kings fortunes. It hasn’t been any different in this year too. Despite having poor form in last two IPL seasons for Rising Pune Supergiant, Dhoni has found his mojo back as a batsman this season. Now with the final just a day away, Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina said that he wants to win the IPL 2018 trophy for MS Dhoni.

Suresh Raina, who has been an important member for Chennai Super Kings since 2008, has the first-hand knowledge of MS Dhoni’s immense contribution to the side over the years. And that’s why he feels the team wants to win the trophy for MS Dhoni this time. The left-handed batsmen said, “He got quite emotional. He cares so much for Chennai team; we all do. He has been amazing for Chennai Super Kings since the start of the IPL, and he is one of the nicest peoples around. So this time, we want to win the IPL Trophy for Dhoni.”

While speaking about MS Dhoni’s form, Suresh Raina said, “He gets criticised so often, and he answered his critics back through his performance.” Further, he added “I remember reading somewhere after the auction that Chennai Super Kings Team is a bunch of old guys. But it is all about experience and how well you use it. Our team is very confident right now.” Chennai Super Kings will face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
