Inno Genga is a British playback singer, who works in the Kollywood film industry. He became famous through his song covers on YouTube. He has also sung songs for the compositions by the music directors including Anirudh Ravichander, D. Imman and Leon James. He made his debut by singing the Tamil song “Kannamma” along with Chinmayi for the movie Ko 2 in the year 2015.

Inno Genga Early Life and Career

Inno Genga was born on 8 November 1993 in England. Inno Genga family is now residing in London, UK. His father name is Rajagopal and his mother name is Chandrika Gengatharan. He completed his schooling in Tiffin School, Kingston, England and finished his graduation in Mathematics with Finance at University of Southampton, England. While pursuing his graduation, he raised his profile as a singer by appearing in the shows arranged by the London Tamil diaspora. In the year 2014, he won the event “Raise Your Voice,” organized by TSI & LSE Tamil Society in 2014. After that, he regularly made some YouTube covers for RnB and Tamil songs, and it was noticed by the Tamil music composers.

As a Playback singer, Inno Genga made his debut in the Kollywood film industry with the song “Kannamma“, a duet alongside Chinmayi, for the movie Ko 2 and the song was composed by Leon James in the year 2015. After seeing his work in that movie, he was invited by Anirudh Ravichander to be a part of his world tours opening artiste. In the Anirudh’s album Remo, he sang the song “Come Closer”, a reprise version of “Sirikkadhey,” in 2016. For his performance in the movie, he was featured in the promotional video for the original song with the cast and crew members including Anirudh, Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthi Suresh. In the year 2017 and 2018, he sang in the albums for Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and Gulaebaghavali, with the composers Ghibran and Vivek–Mervin.
