India Art Fair 2018 | Celebrating 20 years of Khoj | India Art Galleries
India Art Fair is an annual Indian modern and contemporary art fair held in New Delhi, India. It is previously known as India Art Summit. The fair includes photography, paintings, sculptures, drawings, mixed media, prints, and video art. Pragati Maidan had organized the first three editions of the India Art Fair. It is one of India’s largest and oldest exhibitions grounds. This time, the India Art Fair 2018 presents multiple lenses to view social issues, questions the value of art, and keeps its promise with the Masters. Director Jagdip Jagpal had described the tenth edition of the India Art Fair as a “work in progress”.
The 10th edition of the Art Fair 2018 held at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi and the hall will be open to the public between 10th – 12th February 2018.
India Art Fair 2018 features a range of galleries allowing unrivalled access to new and exciting art from the country, the region and beyond. It promotes cultural discourse through a broad and exciting line-up of large-scale installations, conversations, screenings, performances, photography, paintings, sculptures and live events to engage a diverse audience as well as cover a wide spectrum of artistic practices.
This time, the group have created the open-air library where kids can browse, lounge and read at leisure. The open-air library had decorated especially for children between the ages of 6 and 12 as a casual seating area. Children can come and read a book of their choice from the wide variety presented, entertain in activities like crosswords, word searches, colouring and get pictures with their favourite book characters like Willy Wonka, Peppa, Charlie, and Wimpy to name a few.

In 2018, the public programme will be reimagined and feature international artists, speakers and consultants from some of the world’s leading art organisations. The art fair 2018 will see a larger participation of non-profit and public institutions compared to the previous years.
