The ICC Champions Trophy is a one-day international (ODI) cricket tournament organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), it is important after the Cricket World Cup. It was introduced as the ICC Knock Out Tournament in 1998 and has been played nearly every two years since. Its name was drawn to the Champions Trophy in 2002.

The number of teams competing has altered over the years; mainly, all the ICC’s members took part, and from 2000 to 2004 assistant members also took part. Since 2009, the tournament has only required the eight highest-ranked ODI teams as of six months earlier to the tournament.

Match 1: England vs Bangladesh

The ICC Championship Trophy 2017 started on June 1st, and the first match for England VS Bangladesh held at Kennington Oval Stadium, London. In that match Joe Root Flurried to his 10th ODI hundred as a title favourites, England has begun their tournament campaign with an eight-wicket win by thrashing of Bangladesh in this Champians Trophy opener on Thursday.

Also, root has contributed 133 runs not out for 129 balls and from the opener, Alex Hales 95 off 86 and the captain Eoin Morgan 75 not out off 61 balls that helped England to chase down the 306 runs target in 47.2 overs. And it is the first time that 300 was chased successfully in the history of Champions Trophy. If we move to bat, Bangladesh will have performed well to post 305 for six with the Opener Tamim Iqbal who scored 128 off 142 balls that making his ninth ODI hundred.

Match 2: Australia vs New Zealand

The ICC Championship Trophy 2017 the second match for Australia vs. New Zealand Group A held at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham. The match that held yesterday for Australia vs. New Zealand was ended in a draw that is no result.
