Making your own hand sanitizer is not hard where it requires only three ingredients,

1. Isopropyl alcohol

It is a colourless liquid having disinfectant properties. This rubbing alcohol is used in every hand sanitizers.

2. Aloe Vera Gel

This gel will moisturize and protect your skin from sunburns, bug bites, minor cuts or wounds, and other skin problems.

3. Oil

Need an essential oil like tea tree oil or lavender oil, or else lemon juice.

How to make Make Hand Sanitizer at Home

Once you have gathered all of the materials you need, it only takes about a few minutes to make your Hand sanitizer. According to Dr. Rishi Desai, a chief medical officer of Osmosis, the hand sanitizer with these materials will kill 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria.

STEP 1: Take 750 ml of isopropyl alcohol, 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel, and 10 drops of essential oil like Tea Tree oil or Lemon juice.

STEP 2: Pour all ingredients into a bowl and mix them with a spoon.

STEP 3: Now, beat the mix with the whisk until they turn into a gel.

STEP 4: Save the gel in the empty bottle and use it to clean your hands.

Sanitizers have the capacity to clean germs and bacterias on hands quickly.

  • Apply the small amount of waterless hand sanitizer to the palm of one hand.
  • Rub your hands together covering all surfaces of including fingers.
  • Rub until your hands get dry.
  • Avoid using hand sanitizer when your hands are dirty.
