Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian Cricketer, who is playing for Indian Cricket Team. Moreover, she is the all-rounder in Indian Cricket Team, with that, she awarded with the prestigious Arjuna Award for Cricket in the year 2017 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. She made her debut match at the age of 20 against arch-rivals Pakistan women’s in March 2009 on the match of 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup which was held in Bradman Oval, Bowral. Harmanpreet Kaur was born on 8 March 1989 in Moga, Punjab, India. Harmanpreet Kaur father name is Harmandar Singh Bhullar who is a volleyball and basketball player and her mother name is Satwinder Kaur. Harmanpreet Kaur has a younger sister named Hemjeet who is a post-graduate and working as an assistant professor at Guru Nanak College in Moga. She did her schooling in Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar and her graduation details will be updated soon. She joined in Gian Jyoti School Academy, which is located 30kms away from her home, where she was trained by Kamaldeesh Singh Sodhi. Later she moved to Mumbai and worked in Indian Railways in the year 2014.

Harmanpreet Kaur made her debut match against Pakistan in March 2009 in the 2009 Women’s Cricket World Cup that held in Bradman Oval, Bowral. In this match, she bowled for 4 overs and conceding 10 runs and also caught Armaan Khan off Amita Sharma. Then in the same year, she made her debut Twenty20 International in the 2009 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 against England at County Ground, Taunton and in that match, she scored 8 runs off 7 balls. Later in the year 2012, she was named as an Indian women’s captain for the 2012 Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup final, but the captain Mithali Raj and vice-captain Jhulan Goswami were moved out because of injuries. She made her debut as a captain against Pakistan women’s as India defended 81 runs thus won Asia Cup in the year 2012. In the year 2013, she became the captain of ODI of Indian Women’s Team and she appeared in various movies and showed her talent. In the 2017 December, she was named as one of the players in the ICC Women’s T20I Team of the Year.
