Govind Padmasoorya who is also known as GP is an Indian television presenter and a film actor who works mainly in Malayalam movies. He made his debut in Malayalam Film as the Protagonist in Atayalangal, which is directed by the M.G. Sasi and produced by Aravind Venugopal. The film is based on life and literature of the writer Nandanar. It also won Five Awards in Kerala including the Best Film Award. Other films he has worked include IG (2009), Daddy Cool (2009), and 32aam Adhyayam 23aam Vaakyam (2015). He has won various awards for his Anchoring in TV shows. Govind Padmasoorya Profile And Career
Govind Padmasoorya was born on June 16, 1987, at Pattambi in Kerala. He is the son of Govind Menon, who is a Bank Manager in CSB and his mother Malathy is a Sub Divisional Engineer at BSNL. He has the younger brother named Govind Amrithsoorya. He has completed his education in Mumbai and Banglore, During college days he was well associated with the short films, from where he got an offer to act in Malayalam movies. He was also cast as Sreekanth as an Indian Cricketer, in Daddy Cool. From then he did leading roles in many films including the 32aam adhyayam 23 aam vaakyam.

Govind Padmasoorya has won several awards for his anchoring and also for acting, which includes JC award in 2007 for best debut actor, ALA film award 2008 for the best new face, Asiavision Awards 2014 for Best Anchor for D2 and He has won four awards for Anchoring Adi Mone Buzzer: Fastest Family First. Currently, he is playing the antihero role in the Movie Kee, which is his Tamil debut movie with Jiiva.
