Today, German lawmakers voted to legalise same-sex marriage. On this issue, After the longstanding opposition left by Chancellor Angela Merkel to a free vote, a landmark decision had come.
As heterosexual couples, the bill gives homosexual couples in Germany by allowing same-sex marriage and can adopt children.
It is going to pass through the Budersrat in Germany’s upper house in next week. The Bundesrat has earlier approved legalising same-sex marriage.
