Gayathri Raguram is a choreographer, actress, and politician who worked in the South Indian film industry. She is the daughter of the famous choreographer Raghuram. She made her debut as an actress in the year 2002 through the Tamil movie “Charlie Chaplin”. After a gap, She started her career as a Choreographer and worked in several movies. Gayathri played supporting roles in Vai Raja Vai, Aruvam, and Rang De. She made a debut directional movie Yaadhumagi Nindraai which premiered directly on ZEE5.
The year 2017 will be an unforgettable one for Gayathri, as she took part in the reality show Bigg Boss. Where she was heavily criticized for her activities in the Biggboss house. In November 2015, Gayathri Raguram was appointed as the Bharatiya Janata Party‘s secretary for arts in Tamil Nadu. Due to some controversies over the Trichy Surya Siva and Daisy Saran audio leak, she was suspended from the party in November 2022.
