Gauri Khan is an Indian movie producer and interior designer, who works in Bollywood film industry. Moreover, she is the co-founder and co-chairperson of the motion picture production company, Red Chillies Entertainment and for its subsidiaries. She made her debut movie Main Hoon Na in the year 2004. She recently produced the movie Zero starred Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Gauri Khan Details

Gauri Khan was born on 8 October 1970 in New Delhi, India. Gauri Khan family is now residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father name is Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber and her mother name is Savita. She did her schooling in Loreto Convent School and Modern School, Delhi and she did her graduation in Lady Shri Ram College and NIFT, Delhi. After her graduation, she learnt to tailor because of her father’s garment business. Gauri Khan Husband name is Shahrukh Khan, they both met in the year 1984 before he starts his successful career in Bollywood.  Then they both got married on 25 October 1991 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Then this couple has three children two sons named Aryan who born in 1997 and Abram was born on 27 May 2013 and daughter Suhana was born in 2000.

In the year 2002, she started her film production and distribution company Red Chillies Entertainment with her husband Shahrukh Khan. Then she also serves as a co-chairperson for the company as well as she is the main producer of all the films produced under the banner. The first film that produced by her production company is Main Hoon Na which is directed by Farah Khan and the film went well at the box office, with that, is the second highest-grossing film of the year. She also gave a guest appearance in two of the film like Om Shanti Om (2007) and Happy New Year (2014). Gauri Khan used to host weekly Hindi music countdown show Oye for the MTV India in the year 1990s. Moreover, she is the face of fashion line Aftershock, with that, she has also designed the fashion collection titled ‘Cocktails and Dreams’ for Satya Paul in the year 2016.

As she is more interested in interior design she renovated her Bandra bungalow, Mannat. In the year 2010, she professionally staked into interior designing along with the interior designer and close friend Sussanne Khan to design some of the exclusive interior projects. Later in the year 2014, she established her concept store called The Design Cell which gets located in Worli, Mumbai. In 2017, she launched her design studio Gauri Khan Designs that cover 8,700 square ft at Juhu, Mumbai. This company has collaborated with some of the international artists including Roberto Cavalli and Ralph Lauren for home accessories. She is known for the low profile and media-shy person and she is cited as the most stylish women in Bollywood. She also featured in the cover page of India’s popular lifestyle magazine, Vogue India in January 2008. In the year 2008, she featured in a television and print commercials for the home furnishings brand, D’decor with her husband.
