Extraction 2 is the latest Hollywood action film directed by Sam Hargrave. This much-anticipated sequel features Chris Hemsworth, Golshifteh Farahani, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, Sinead Phelps, Jenn Kirk, Justin Howell, Adam Bessa, and Rudhraksh Jaiswal. The screenplay was done by Joe Russo of the Russo brothers. The film is scheduled to stream online on Netflix from June 16, 2023.

The film was bankrolled by Russo brothers and Chris Hemsworth under the AGBO production house. The film is about a Black Ops mercenary Tyler Rake who was presumed dead in the first movie and returned for another high-stakes covert mission. To save a family from a Georgian gangster, Tyler has to break into one of the deadliest prisons in the world. What happens during the mission is the main crux of the film. The makers released the trailer on 16 May 2023, on YouTube. As soon as it was released the trailer became one of the trending videos on youtube.
