Dunki is the latest action comedy movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani of PK fame. The film casts Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu as the protagonists, with Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, and Anil Grover in supporting roles. Gauri Khan and Jyoti Deshpande bankrolled the film under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Jio Studios. Pritam of Dhoom fame scored the songs and background scores.
