Divya Spandana is an Indian movie actress and politician, who predominantly appears in Kannada film industry. She not only appears in Kannada film she also appeared in other language movies like Tamil and Telugu. She made her debut movie Abhi which is a Kannada movie in this movie she appeared in the role of Bhanu and she appeared along with Puneeth Rajkumar. Divya Spandana Details

Divya Spandana was born on 29 November 1982 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Divya Spandana family is now residing in New Delhi, India. Her father name is R. T. Narayan who is an industrialist and her mother name is Ranjitha who is the senior member of the Congress Party in Karnataka. She did her schooling in Sacred Heart School (Church Park), Chennai, Tamil Nadu and she did her graduation in  St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore. She started her acting career in the year 2002, from the movie Abhi and she appeared in the Kannada movie Excuse Me, Abhimanyu Saira Telugu debut movie and Kuththu Tamil debut movie in this movie she appeared along with Silambarasan in the year 2004. Moreover, she is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards South and a Udaya Award, and a Karnataka State Film Award. Later she appeared in various movies in the following years. Divya Spandana featured in a Blockbuster movie titled Katari Veera Surasundarangi in the year 2011 and others where commercially successful movies that include epic-fantasy movie Nagarahavu.

Divya Spandana started her political career in the year 2012 by joining in Indian National Congress as a member of the youth wing. Then in the year 2013, she won the 2013 by-election and become the Member of Parliament for Mandya constituency in Karnataka but she was defeated in the general election in the following years. Moreover, she is appointed as the head of Congress’ digital media team and credited by media outlets for having transformed the political party’s image on social media.
