Asifa Bano was Gang-raped in a temple for days and killed in Kathua district in January. Deepika Singh Rajawat is the chairperson of the NGO Voice For Right, which is running for the protection of Human Right. Moreover, she faced more threads and verbal abuse by fellow lawyers, where she wrote a letter to the chief justice of J&K High Court to make sure her safety and security in the court. Deepika Singh Rajawat is going to appear in the Jammu and Kashmir High Court behalf of the victim’s parents seeking a court-monitored investigation about the rape and murder of the eight-year-old girl. Deepika Singh Rajawat got married and she has two childrens a boy and a girl.
