Cristiano Ronaldo Leaves Real Madrid After 9 Years to Play for Juventus
On Tuesday, Cristiano Ronaldo has announced that he will leave Spain’s Real Madrid to play for Italy’s Juventus in a momentous $117 million deal. The 33-year-old from Portugal is signed to play for Juventus on a 4-year contract which will net him above $36million per season. It ends the Ronaldo’s 9-year tenure with Real Madrid, which started in 2008 when he was transferred from England’s Manchester United. Real Madrid is the place where he cemented himself as one of the best soccer players of all time and helping the team to win several titles. Moreover, he was the Real Madrid’s all-time leading goal scorer with 451 goals.
