Coronavirus: Kamal Hassan’s Arivum Anbum Song

Kamal Hassan has released the song targeting deadly novel coronavirus. The track has been composed by Ghibran and conceptualized by actor turned politician Kamal Haasan.

Along with Kamal, the music video features an ensemble cast of actors, singers and composers, including Anirudh Ravichander, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Devi Sri Prasad, Shankar Mahadevan, Bombay Jayashri, Sid Sriram, Shruti Haasan, Siddharth, Lydian Nadhaswaram, Andrea Jeremiah, and Mugen Rao.

Kamal Haasan, who has been very active on social media told Mumbai Mirror, “Any artiste sitting idle wants to do something today. I had angst and anger to vent, which led to this song. We wanted to create an anthem.”

He further shared that music is important for mental health. “It’s easy to remember; there’s a reason why film songs are so popular. Chants assist our memory,” the actor added.

The recent tweets from the Indian 2 actor make people aware of the seriousness of the situation. In one of his tweet, the Makkal Neethi Maiam leader talked about how our worshipers in this war are doctors.
