Tamilnadu Chief Minister, Edappadi Palanisamy has been reported to meet Governor, Banwarilal Purohit in the evening to the consult the issues related to the formation of Cauvery Management Board. CM Edappadi Palanisamy said yesterday that he had asked the Prime Minister to meet all the party representatives regarding the formation of Cauvery Management Board, but there was no reply yet. Regarding that, he will meet the Governor, Banwarilal Purohit at Rajbhavan in Chennai.
The senior leader of the Indian National Congress and Former Chief Minister of Kerala, Oommen Chandy, who is in charge of the Cauvery dispute, will be asked by Governor to urge the Central Government to set up a Cauvery Management Board. Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniasamy, who is participating in a ceremony at Rajpavan in Chennai, said he would meet with the Governor after consultation.
