Chhavi Bhardwaj Early Life and Career

Chhavi Bhardwaj was born on 2 June 1985 in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. Chhavi Bhardwaj family is now residing in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. Her father name is Tilak Mohan Bhardwaj, a General Manager in the Electricity Department and her mother was a Head of Political Science Deptt in Garhwal University Uttrakhand. She has a younger sister, who is an engineer. Her schooling details will be updated soon. She finished her graduation on B.Tech in Electronics & Communication. Chhavi Bhardwaj husband name is Nand Kumaram, the Collector of the Western Neemuch District and the couple has a son.

Chhavi Bhardwaj started her career in the year 2008 as an assistant collector. In the year 2013, she was promoted as a collector and was posted at the Dindhori district of Madhya Pradesh. She had filed an FIR against the Chief Municipal Officer for giving her Rs. 50,000 as a bribe. After this incident, she was recognized as one of the honest officers in India. In the year 2016, she was appointed as a New Municipal Commissioner of Bhopal area. With her hard work and dedication, she developed the city to the second position Swachh Survekshan program. In the year 2018, she was transferred to the Jabalpur district and she has become the first woman collector of that city. She has also written the book titled “Like a Bird on the Wire,” in 2018. The story of the book revolves around the life of IAS officers and also the challenges and political pressure faced by the officers.
