Bellamkonda Sreenivas starrer Chatrapathi hit the theatres on May 12, 2023. This movie is now in the court of torrent sites like iBomma, Teluguwap, Tamilrockers, and Movierulz. Chatrapathi is an officially remade film helmed by director V.V. Vinayak. The new version stars Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles. Marathi actor Sharad Kelkar also plays a crucial role in this action thriller drama.

The original version was helmed by SS Rajamouli that features Prabhas in the lead role.

Chatrapathi Story

Chatrapathi/Shivaji (Bellamkonda Sreenivas) is a Sreelankan refugee and was adopted by Parvathi. Later, he got separated from Parvathi because of the jealous stepson. While searching for his mother, he fell in love with Sapna.

Meanwhile, the hero has to deal with two gangsters for their atrocity over fellow refugees. From then on, Shivaji becomes Chatrapathi. Whether he reunites with his mom Parvathi or not and what will happen to his enemies is the rest of the story!

Review

BellamKonda Sreenivas is so good in action and dance sequences and needs more improvement in expressions. Nushrrat comes as the usual heroine in commercial cinema. The cinematography and background score is good. And the songs by Tanishk Bagchi are good to hear.

The movie is produced by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada under the banner of Pen Movies.

OTT Release Date

Chatrapathi will be streaming on the OTT channel once the theatrical run is over. Till now, there is no official confirmation from the production department. It will be updated once it is confirmed.
