Blue Star Tamil Movie (2024): Cast, Trailer, OTT, Songs, Release Date

Blue Star is the latest Tamil family drama directed by S Jayakumar. Ashok Selvan and Keerthi Pandian are the protagonists, with Shanthanu, Prithvirajan, Bagavathi Perumal, and Lizzie Antony in supporting roles. Pa Ranjith produced this film under the Neelam Productions banner. Govind Vasantha composed the songs and background scores. Think Music bagged the label rights.

The story is happening in Arakkonam, and in a poster, the actors look exactly like native people. The audience gave a great response to the first look poster and the Blue Star Anthem song, and it gave the ‘Chennai 28 ‘ and ‘Madras’ movie vibes.

The protagonists, Ashok Selvan and Keerthi Pandian, married on September 13, 2023. On the occasion of their wedding, the makers released the first single, Railin Oligal, from the Blue Star movie.

Release Date

The makers have announced the release date. The film will be shown in theaters starting January 25, 2024.

The release date and OTT platform have not been finalized yet. After the theatrical release, it should take at least a month or so for the film to stream. As per sources, Disney+ Hotstar might acquire the streaming rights.
