Bellie is an Elephant caretaker from Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu. She became famous after featuring in Oscar-winning short documentary film The Elephant Whisperers. During the interview, Bellie admitted that she didn’t know that the Oscars existed, and she was happy with the kindness that was shown by the people. Bellie also added that she took care of several elephants and treated them like her own children.
