Beka Garris was born on 13 April and raised in Northern New Jersey, and she grew up in the hunting, fishing and farming. Hunting is the way to live of her father as soon as it became a way of her life as well. She started her hunting at the age of 7 and at the age of 10 she is an officially licensed hunter. She did her first hunt was a deer, by using her grandfather’s double barrel 20 gauge and then she shot her first turkey, squirrels and more deer and her passion took off. Even though she interested in fishing she loves hunting as well. At the age of 16, she started her bowhunting once after she learned bowhunting she rarely picks up the firearm to hunt.

One day she saw an old Bear bowfishing reel and some arrows and she asked her dad that I can use them. She taught herself that how to bowfish at Paulinskill in NJ, and it became her Summer Passion. Once after her graduation, she planned to travel for a few years and hunt in some new states. After she worked in the farms, hunting clubs, and guiding hunts at an outfitter in Kentucky, with that, she took a job in building bowstrings near Cincinnati Ohio. She says that Bowfishing and hunting were really good and though the bowstring company went out of business she stayed there and worked part-time in a local gun shop. Then she says that her father is highly responsible got her love of hunting and she was always attracted by Fred Bear.
