AV Ravi, fondly called as Gym Ravi, Kolare Ravi or Bangalore Ravi is an Indian Body Builder and Icon of Natural Body Building. Apart from bodybuilding, he also acted in more than 130 Movies in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film industries. Some of his notable movies in the Kannada language are Habba, Sipayi, Kote, Suntara Gallee, Suryavamsha, Thriller Killer and more. Some of his notable movies in the Telugu language are Gabbar Singh, Abba, Stalin, Jalsa, Balu, Gudumba Shankar and more. Currently, he is one of the contestants of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 6. AV Ravi Early Life and Career

AV Ravi was born in Kolar, Karnataka, India. Currently, he is living in Karnataka. AV Ravi was born to Sri. Venkata Ramanappa (Wrestler) and Smt. Seethamma. Being born in a sports family, AV Ravi finished his schoolings in Government School, Kolar. Then, he finished his graduation in the Government Boys College, Kolar. Since he had an interest in joining the Indian army, he was under the impression that a well-maintained physique and body will make him join the Army with ease. Having encouraged by his family members, he trained hard and stepped into the bodybuilding field in the year 1987. Having impressed by his well-maintained physique, his college teachers have granted him the opportunity to represent their college. Simultaneously, he competed in the state level championship and won the Junior Karnataka title (Karnataka Kishore). It made him compete in the National level tournament and won the Junior India Title (Bharath Kishore). During his illustrious career, he has represented India at various Body building tournaments. For his immaculate character, he entered the film industry and acted in villainous character. Till now, he has acted in more than 130 films in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi film industries. Currently, he is participating in the popular reality show, Kannada Bigg Boss Season 6, hosted by Sudeep.
