Atique Ahmed is a former MP and MLA of Samajwadi Party. He was a gangster and politician. He was elected as a member of the legislative assembly west. Atiq was the candidate of the Samajwadi party for the 14th Lok Sabha in Uttar Pradesh. He also served as the president of the Apna Dal political party in UP.
On March 2023, he was accused in a murder case of BSP MLA Raju Pal after a key witness Umesh Pal, was shot dead in Prayagraj in UP on February 2023. Atique was accused in over 100 criminal cases. His Asad was encountered by UP police in Jhansi on 13 April 2023.
