Atharvaa Murali is an Indian actor and model who mostly works in the Tamil film industry. He is the son of Tamil actor Murali. Atharvaa made his on-screen debut with the Film Baana Kaathadi in 2010. He made his breakthrough portraying Raasa in Bala’s period film Paradesi (2013), winning critical acclaim, and earned a Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Tamil. He made his digital debut with the Hotstar Specials Mathagam web series directed by Prasanth Murugesan.

After graduation, Atharvaa chose to pursue a career in films and trained under stunt choreographers to prepare himself physically as an actor.
In 2009, his father offered him to play the lead role in Badri Venkatesh’s film Baana Kaathadi.
He then earned positive reviews for his performance as a youngster suffering from delusion in the romantic thriller Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (2012). His performance was well-received by the audience.
Atharvaa is an avid dog lover.
