Ashneer Grover is the co-founder of Bharatpe, which is a fintech company that serves small merchants, and Kirana stores in India. He became an internet sensation after his resignation announcement from Managing Director in Bharatpe. Ashneer Grover said that he was vilified and treated in a disrespectful manner by the investors which made him resign from the firm. His family members and wife Madhuri Jain Grover were also dragged into the board. Ashneer Grover is one of the judging panel members of Shark Tank India.

In June 2023, on MTV Roadies 19, visits as a guest judge, during the show when actor Gautam Gulati plays the Delhi card he lashes out at him. The video went viral on social media platforms.
