Aparna Yadav is an Indian politician, who is the daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party’s head and ex-chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav. She is the daughter of Arvind Singh Bisht who is the editor of the Lucknow branch of The Times of India in Uttar Pradesh. Her husband Prateek Yadav is a youngest son of Mulayam Singh Yadav. The couple has a daughter named Prathama, she was born in 2013. After her marriage, she turned herself into public life and joined in Samajwadi Party. In 2017, she participated in Lucknow Cantonment Assembly against Rita Bahuguna Joshi of BJP.
