Aparna Vinod is a South Indian film and theatre actress hailing from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. She made her debut in the Malayalam film Industry in 2015, through the movie Njan Ninnodu Koodeyundu, which was directed by Priyanadanan, starring opposite Siddharth Bharathan and Vinay Forrt in the lead role. In her second film Kohinoor, she played the leading female role alongside Asif Ali. After the success of Kohinoor, her debut in the Tamil film Industry came in the form of a role alongside Ilayathalapathy Vijay, playing a pivotal role as the second female lead in 2017 Tamil Blockbuster, Bhairavaa, which was directed by Bharathan. Aparna Vinod was born on 19 February 1996, in Ernakulam, Kerala. She is the daughter of Vinod P and mother Vaiga Vinod. She did her schooling at St. Thomas Residential School during her early years and went on to complete the 10th grade from Fr. Mathew Alakalam Public School, Chalakudy graduating from the Saraswathi Vidyalaya in Trivandrum. She is currently pursuing her final year in B.Sc., Psychology under the University of Calicut at Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies and she resides with her younger sister Gayatri in Chalakudy, Kerala.
