Anu Mohan is a popular actor known for his works in the Tamil film industry. He started his career as a director and helmed four films in the ’90s. His first directional was Idhu Oru Thodar Kathai which was released in the year 1987. The film stars Mohan, Rekha, Amala in the lead characters. He made his acting debut in the 1997 movie VIP. To date, he has acted in more than 65 films and three serials.

Anumohan came to limelight after he did a comic role in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Padayappa (1999). He also appeared in some TV serials and shows.
He is a writer of the 1992 film Pangali which stars Sathyaraj, Bhanupriya, Goundamani, and Manorama in the main roles.
Anu Mohan also lent his voice for many dubbed movies like Rangeela, Siraichaalai, Delhi Diary, Unmai, Chennai Kadhal, and more.
Some of his television works are Krishna Cottage (Jaya TV) and Nandini (Sun TV). He will be seen in Star Vijay TV from October 6 on Bigg Boss Tamil 4. Anumohan will be one of the eldest contestants in the show.
His son Arun Mohan did a key role in the thriller film Sarabham (Tamil).
