Anjali Rao is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Tamil film and television industry. She has also appeared in a few Telugu films. She has been seen in lead roles in films including Vanmam (2014) and Baby (2015). Anjali Rao was last seen in the Anantham web series. She portrayed the role of Lalitha.

During her college days, Anjali Rao started her career in modeling and appeared in several commercials. Anjali began her acting career by playing supporting roles in films. Some of her notable roles have come in movies such as Malini 22 Palayamkottai (2014), Vanmam (2014), Baby (2015), Anchcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016), Ghatana (2016), Peechankai (2017), and Annanukku Jai (2018). Apart from movies, she also appeared in television serials. She did a lead role in Zee Tamil‘s Thalayanai Pookal.
