Amy Jackson is a British actress and model who predominantly works in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu Movies. Her full name is Amy Louise Jackson. After college, she started modelling at a young age of 16 and won the ‘Miss Teen World competition’ in 2009 and also the ‘Miss Liverpool’ title in 2010. Director A. L. Vijay spotted her and cast her as the leading lady of the Tamil language period-drama film Madrasapattinam in 2010. The film was moderately successful at the box office. Later, she continues to act in Indian films of all languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. Amy Jackson was born on 31 January 1992 in Isle of Man, United Kingdom. Her father Alan works as a producer for BBC Radio Merseyside while her mother Marguerita Jackson was a horseriding trainer. She has an elder sister named Alicia. Amy Jackson did her schooling in in Woolton, Liverpool and graduated in English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics from St Edward’s College.
