Amrapali Kata is an Indian Administrative officer of 2010 batch in Andhra Pradesh cadre. She is the first lady IAS officer, who appointed to the Warangal Urban district of Telangana. She is popularly known as an energetic and young IAS officer.

Amrapali Kata IAS Early Life and Career

Amrapali Kata IAS was born on 4 November 1982 in Narsapuram Agraharam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her family and schooling details will be updated soon. He finished her graduation in B. Tech Civil Engineering at  IIT Madras and PGDM at IIM Bangalore. After her graduation, she joined in ABN Amro. To prepare for the Civil Service examination she quit her job. She is the youngest candidate who cracked the UPSC CSE in 39th rank. Her first posting was in Andhra Pradesh and also worked as a Jr. Relationship Banker, and became Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer in the year 2010. Initially, she worked as a Sub-Collector in Vikarabad District. In the year 2014, Amrapali Kata was transferred and appointed as a Director in Women and Child Welfare Department. In 2016, she was appointed as a District Collector and District Magistrate for Warangal Urban District. As a collector of Urban Warangal district, she works hard for the development of the district.
