His team has won several awards in Dance shows including the Indian HipHop Dance Championship, Kings of Dance title in Star Vijay TV, Dance Vs Dance in Colour Tamil, and more. Amir has participated in the most popular show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 (2021) hosted by Kamal Haasan. He entered as a wildcard contestant of the show.
