Akshata is married to Rishi Sunak who is the Chancellor (British Conservative Party) of the Exchequer of the UK. Akshata and Rishi have two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka. On 07 April 2022, British media reported that Akshata claimed a non-domiciled status in the UK.
