Akash Ambani Details

Akash Ambani is the elder son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Akash was born on 23 October 1991 in Mumbai, Maharastra, India. He did his schoolings at Dhirubhai Ambani International School located in Mumbai. After completing his schoolings, He moved to the U.S. He received a degree in Economics from Brown University, located at Rhode Island of U.S.A. After finishing his graduation, Akash moved back to India to take part in his Dad’s Business. He has a twin sister, Isha Ambani, who is a co-director at Jio and Reliance Retail. And he also has a younger brother, Anant Ambani.

Since his childhood, Akash Ambani had been fond of cricket and he had always been a part of his school’s cricket team as well. During his course at Brown University, he attended an internship in his father’s Reliance Group of Industry. He completed his internship and also gained knowledge about the family business and in addition to this, it also helped him in learning the necessary skills required for the graduation.

In 2014, his father decided to make him a member of the board of directors of Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. He along with his twin sister Isha Ambani helped his father in launching Reliance Jio which is country’s largest telecom 4G service provider. Reliance Jio made a tremendous change in the telecom industry, and apart from being involved in Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail, Akash had also been involved with IPL team owned by Mukesh Ambani. His interest in cricket made him a part of the team, and he can manage the team in a well-oriented manner.

According to state media reports, Akash Ambani will marry his schoolmate Shloka Mehta, the youngest daughter of diamantaire Russell Mehta, in early December.
