Adiyogi Lord Shiva, the 112 feet tall bust at Isha Yoga Foundation has been named as the world’s largest Bust by the Guinness Book of World Records. Guinness has made this announcement on their official website of https://www.guinness.com/.
It is situated at the Isha Yoga Foundation in the outskirts of Coimbatore District in Tamil Nadu, and it was inaugurated by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24th February this year. A press release said: “The face of Adiyogi, set up by the Isha Foundation led by spiritual guru Jaggi Vasudev, attracts thousands of people every day.”
The bust is 112.4 feet high, 24.99 meters wide and 147 feet long, as verified on 11th March of 2017. Further, they said:
“The Adiyogi bust refers to the source of Yoga, and it symbolizes the 112 methods of self-transformation that the first Yogi offered.”
The Isha Foundation intends to set three more statues with the similar height across the country. It is the second time that the Isha Foundation had achieved a Guinness record.
The Release added: “The foundation had entered the Guinness Book of World Records for planting 8.52 lakh saplings on 17th October of 2006.”
