Aditi Rao Hydari is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil language films. Aditi did her acting debut in the Malayalam film Pajapathi. In 2007, she made her Tamil debut period-drama film Sringaram. Aditi Rao Hydari came to the limelight after she acted in Sudhir Mishra’s romantic thriller film Yeh Saali Zindagi. Her role in the film won the Screen Award in the Best Supporting Actress category. She worked in several super-hit movies like Psycho, Sufiyum Sujatayum, V, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, and more. Aditi made her digital debut in ZEE5’s Taj Divided by Blood web series where she portrayed the role of Anarkali.

• Her mother is an acclaimed classical singer popular for the Thumri and Dadra genres of music. Aditi belongs to two royal lineages.
• She is the great-granddaughter of Akbar Hydari, former Prime Minister of Hyderabad, and the grandniece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, former Governor of Assam. Aditi’s maternal grandparents are Raja J Rameshwar Rao, who headed the administration of Wanaparthi state during its day, and Shanta Rameshwar Rao, a much-respected educationalist in the city of Hyderabad, and the chairperson of the publishing house Orient Blackswan. Filmmaker Kiran Rao, the wife of actor Aamir Khan, is her maternal first cousin.
• Aditi Rao Hydari spent her childhood in both Hyderabad and Delhi.
• Hydari began learning Bharatanatyam at age six and became a disciple of very well-known dancer Leela Samson.
• She made her on-screen debut in the Indian Tamil period-drama film Sringaram in which Aditi played the role of a devadasi her performance in the film earned positive reviews from critics and won many awards including 3 National Film Awards.
• When Hydari was only 21 years old, it was reported that she married a lawyer and civil servant Satyadeep Mishra, a Bollywood and television actor.
• Later, Aditi declined to comment on her marital status and mentioned that they were separated. But, the couple is still close and has kept in touch over the years.
