Actor Bala was born at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He was born on 19 December 1982. His father’s name is Jeyakumar who has directed over 350 films and documentaries. His grandfather is the owner of Arunachala Studios. Bala’s brother is Siva who is a famous directed in Tamil film industry. His brother is famously called as “Siruthai Siva“. Actor Bala comes from a family which is closely associated with the film industry.

Actor Bala made his debut in the movie “Anbu” which was released in the year 2003. His debut movie in Malayalam is “Kalabham” which was released in the year 2006. After his debut in Malayalam, he got series of movies in Malayalam which made him a famous actor in Mollywood film industry. Apart from being an actor, he made his directional debut in the movie “The Hit List” in which he played the lead role as well.

Actor Bala made his reentry in Tamil film industry through the movie “Veeram” which was directed by his brother Siva. Ajith Kumar played the lead role in the movie and Bala was one of the four brothers of Ajith in this movie. The movie was a commercial hit.

Actor Bala married Amrutha Suresh who is a singer. They got married on 27 August 2010 in Ernakulam, Kerala. The couple is blessed with a daughter. Their daughter Avantika was born on 20 November 2012. The couple has filed for Divorce.
