Acharya is the latest Telugu movie star Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan in major roles. The film was directed by Koratala Siva of Bharat Ane Nenu fame and is billed as a socio-political drama. Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, Jayaprakash, Sonu Sood, and Akshara Gowda also play key parts in the film. Under the Konidela Production Company in collaboration with Matinee Entertainment, Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy provided financial support for this film.
Mani Sharma created the film’s soundtrack and background scores. Tirru was the director of photography, and Naveen Nooli was in charge of the editing. The film will be released on April 29, 2022.
Reports suggest that the film revolves around a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who fights against the Endowments Department over the misappropriation of temple funds and donations. Chiru 152 will show Megastar in dual roles as Govind and Acharya. Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son Ram Charan to share screen space in Acharya for the first time ever!.
