Abhay Deol started his acting career in the year 2005 with the Bollywood movie “Socha Na Tha,” along with Ayesha Takia. His performance in the movie was praised by the critics. His second movie was “Ahista Ahista,” directed by Shivam Nair in 2006. In the year 2007, he starred in the multi-starrer comedy-drama “Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd” was directed by Reema Kagti. In that movie, Abhay Deol acted with Amisha Patel, Kay Kay Menon, Boman Irani, Shabana Azmi, Minissha Lamba, Raima Sen, Diya Mirza and Ranvir Shorey. In the same year, he acted in two more movies they are Ek Chalis Ki Last Local and Manorama Six Feet Under. Moreover, he also won the Best Film at the Mahindra Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York City, and Deol won the Best Actor Award.
