A. R. Ameen is an Indian playback singer born to Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman on 6 January 2003 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He started his singing career in the 2015 Tamil film O Kadhal Kanmani which was composed by his father A.R. Rahman. Ameen then sang in the Tollywood movie Nirmala Convent. He made his debut in Hindi with Sachin: A Billion Dreams, the biopic on cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He has sung the song ‘Mard Maratha’ in the Hindi version of this multilingual biopic along with Anjali Gaekwad. On March 5, 2023, Ameen escaped from a chandelier fall accident during his event.
